The fish in the right claw looks like a 12 inch dorado. I don't know what the predator is, could be a young eagle. (Wrong, this is an Osprey.. Thanks Stacey for the ID). This was very exciting to watch, so much that the image quality suffers.

Mike, congrats on a great photo.. When you asked me to help ID it, I was concerned as there are so many birds, and I wasn't sure I would know which birds they have where you were, but this is with out a doubt a Osprey.. they are fantastic flyers and hunt fish..
Just google them and you will see.. thanks for asking, and having a bird that I know..lol..
Catch you later

Nice one, Mike. You're gonna need a longer lens :-)
Debra, Thanks for commenting, the fine catch was the bird's.

TJ, This is one of those times.. I was walking around at sunset with a 20mm on the camera. When I saw the bird, I ran back to the house and grabbed my 200mm and a tripod thinking that would be enough. I left the 2X behind. Oh well!!! next time...
