Really nice, Mike. I love the simplicity - the water, the sky, the boat. It's a powerful image that's perfect for B&W.

I wish the boat was a little more dominant in the frame. Perhaps if you lightened it just a little, it would stand out a bit more? It's a very important component of the story here.
Thanks J.L.T. and TJ, I know we can't blame problems on the equipment,,,,but I originally did this on a old lap top that I now know has a very bright screen. I agree with you completely, so I tried to lighten the boat. I'm using lightroom, haven't sorted out the CS4 upgrade yet now it might be to bright. Thanks

Looks a lot better. The boat looks pretty good.

I'd bring the black point up just a hair (make the darks a wee bit darker). Also, tone down the lower left corner - it's too light.

Great scene!

I like the ivory color to the clouds, maybe a bit bright, but just at the edges, and my normal lightroom solution, a little vignetting might be a solution, but might make things a little too dark, too high-contrast dark.

Love the contrast in the form and shape of clouds.
