36 - The Mangroves

The Mangroves a poem by the students of CE 2B Les Flamboyants School New Caledonia

In 2001 children from 12 countries took part in an Art and Poetry contest organized by the Mangrove Action Project. The aim was to create awareness among children (in mangrove countries) about mangrove ecosystems and their protection. Over 4,500 children took part.
