A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Albert Einstein

Mike this is amazing, as always. I like the black and white touch. BTW thanks for sharing Einstein's quote. Anna :)

Great quote (and nice photo too).

I've always wondered to myself how amazingly complex and powerful the human mind can be. It's capacity is unfathomable.

Yet at the same time some people's minds can be so skewed, delusional, and out of touch with reality that they unknowingly create invisible boundaries and unrealistic beliefs.

And I don't think anyone is ever completely free of having thoughts that are not colored by some sort of preconceived notions.

We are amazing yet highly flawed at times.
