By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. Confucius
And I think it takes all three methods to become wise.
That's really awesome, Mike. I love this. The glass-clad building, in my mind, kind of disappears from the scene. It's like a window and is invisible except for the "grid lines" around the window panels. The reflected building is perfectly framed and sits well and balanced within the reflection as well as the whole frame of the photo. The pastel colors are soothing and really nice. I love the pink tones... they hint at the strongness and boldness of the color red, but just don't scream as loud.
The only thing I'd consider doing is perhaps burning down the bright area in the lower right.
Well done!
BTW, did you correct the perspective in PS? Or did you use a T/S lens?
Marka, Thanks for your comments, this was a city sunrise with an incredible pink sky.
TJ, Thanks this is a wonderful street in Coral Gables, old Mediterranean on one side modern glass on the other. The pink corner is so strong I thought I'd leave the bright lower left to try and balance it. The keystoneing was removed in PS with the 16mm it was so great I almost ran out of room at the top.

Canon 5DmkII, 16-35mm at 16mm, iso100, 1.5 sec at f/11.0, +CPL Responsibility does not only lie with the leaders of our countries or with those who have been appointed or elected to do a particular job. It lies with each of us individually. Peace, for example, starts within each one of us. When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us. HH The Dalai Lama
Canon 5DmkII, 16-35mm at 16mm, iso100, 1/15 sec at f/8.0, +CPL There is a feeling of effortless effort when passion is connected to a process. It is amazing to me that when I am creating images the aches and pains in my body seem to disappear for that time. Photography is my meditations.
