Atwood H. Townsend
This looked familiar, so I had to look it up. My mom always called that plant "wandering jew".
From Wikipedia: "Tradescantia pallida is a species of spiderwort (a genus of New World plants) more commonly known as wandering jew."
I like the quote, Mike. It's especially relevant in my life. I don't take enough time to slow down to read (or do other similar things that come down to learning and absorbing the world around me).
