Titan is the sixth ellipsoidal moon from Saturn. Frequently described as a planet-like moon, Titan has a diameter roughly 50% larger than Earth's moon and is 80% more massive. It is the 2nd largest moon in the Solar System, after Jupiter's moon Ganymede, and it is larger by volume than the smallest planet, Mercury, although only half as massive. At first it seems like there's a lot going on in the photo, but then the pleasant simplicity (water + turtle) strikes you. I love the rhythm between the patterns in the water and the patterns on the turtle. And the colors... I love the reflected colors in the water, and the warm, brown tones of the turtle. It's wonderful.
What I love most, though, is the way this beautifully communicates how wonderful nature is.
I've really enjoyed your beach scenes and you've made some incredible photos. But this one is amazing, Mike. Extremely well done!
